Hello, my name is Meg and I run Midnight Rose Design from my home studio, affectionately known as Rose Beach, the closest thing I can get to being by the sea in Sunny Staffordshire!

I enjoy working on creative installations and love nothing more than a beautiful hand-tied bouquet made with beautiful, British grown blooms that reflect the seasons.

​I have always enjoyed arranging flowers for family, but never saw it as a career option until 2020! This seed was firmly planted when I married my wonderful husband, and was brought the most joy by the GORGEOUS blooms created by our wonderful florist: Flowers of Bath, who saved the day last minute too; we were blown away!​
At this time, we were still very much a country in the grips of covid restrictions and I was quite simply looking for a creative outlet I could see a long-term future in, where I could offer a service that put a smile on people's faces, supported the local community whilst caring for the environment and the world around us- flowers ticked every box.​​​
I started a floristry course with The Tallulah Rose Flower School in early 2023, and started building my skill base. I practiced at every opportunity, whilst still working full time in education. Cut to 2025 and I made the leap to pursue my love for flowers and art full time. Although scary, I cannot wait to see what the future holds!

I have many years experience working on events & weddings from my career as a Make-up Artist working in fashion/ film, and weddings. I also hold a qualification in learning and teaching; with this, I am able to offer workshops/ classes including wreath workshops during the Winter months, so do follow my Instagram for regular updates.
In my spare time, I can usually be found in the garden, or out on an adventure, camera in hand!
